I am a self-taught artist dedicated to elaborating my skills in oil painting. My works often explore visual metaphors, incorporating ornaments and patterns as symbolic motifs intertwined with themes from ancient cultures.
I was born in Russia in 1987. My journey as an artist began during my time in Norway. Living in a diverse cultural environment—Sicily, Norway, and currently Lugano, Switzerland—has enriched my artistic perspective.
I draw deep inspiration from the art of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a time when society delved into questions of identity through the lenses of fairy tales, cultural myths, and psychoanalysis. This era, marked by a vibrant mosaic of artistic movements, influenced my aesthetic approach. Following the principles of symbolism in painting, I use bright oil colors to give my works emotional depth and create an ethereal, transcendental atmosphere.
The purpose of my art is to show the duality of this world, through the prism of personality, to inspire introspective journeys. My work aims to visually captivate the audience, encouraging them to dive into their cognitive and emotional experience.
